DEAR VALUED CUSTOMER
Recently the Aruba Airport Authority decided that they would reduce the
total of 22 car rental offices to 10. They did this by way of a bidding
system with complete new conditions etc., which would entail that those
offices operating from the airport would have to charge their customers an
average of between 12 to 20% “airport tax”.
Considering this unfair to our customers and the fact that we do have an
office located at 3 minutes from the airport on the main road to the hotels
(Camacuri 8 - Garage Cordia the official Toyota dealer), we chose not to
operate the airport office but to offer those customers that do want to be
picked up at the airport, instead of at their hotel,
as of October 31, 2007, a free
shuttle service to our off airport
office at Camacuri.
In order to offer you a smooth and efficient service we require that you
state clearly what flight you will be arriving on (if possible also
estimated time of arrival) so that one of our employees can meet you at the
airport. Any change in your reservation should therefore be communicated to
us as soon as possible.
For departing customers they can return the car at the new Camacuri location
and after closing the contract they will be shuttled to the airport.
We trust that by offering you this service we will save you the airport tax
and at the same time hopefully prevent a lot of the hassle when picking up
and returning your car.
Please advise if this is okay for your reservation or if you opt for another
solution – for instance picking up the car at one of our hotel locations i.e
Playa Linda or Casa del Mar/Aruba Beach Club. If you are staying at another
resort we have our free pickup service.
